Aadi (15 Julai-15 August)
According to Indian’s, wedding shouldn't be happening in Aadi and Margali . Indian wedding in Malaysia does not happen in the middle of July until the middle of August, which is known as Aadi month in Tamil calendar. This is because Aadi is a month, which is best for worshipping god and goddesses. This festival season is the busiest season for priest whereby they have no time to attend a wedding. Aadi is the worst month to conceive a baby because the baby born on Chithirai which will be from the middle of April to the middle of May. This is the hottest month of the year whereby will cause health problem for the baby and the mother. Aadi is a windy season where it is not suitable to conduct a wedding which was held outdoor during ancient time.
Margazhi
Margazhi Tamil month start from 14 of December until 13 of January is the worst month to conduct wedding since this is the last month before the Uttarayana Punyakalam begins. The main reason for not conducting a wedding is because people want to concentrate on spiritual activities. After all, this month is auspicious for god worship. The importance of this month is mentioned by Sri Krishna in Bhagavad Gita when he said Maasanam Margasheershoham. Among the twelve months, I am Marghazhi. This time is also known as the dawn period of god. This is the month god wakes up from sleep which begins in July.
Thai
Thai Tamil month which starts on January 14 is the best month for an Indian wedding. This is the month of harvest which the farmers reap the fruits of yearlong struggles. For this reason, Thai Tamil month is known as the best month of auspicious begins. Things like businesses, new jobs, a new line of study are likely to be started on Thai. This is the reason most of the Indian parents likely to arrange their Children's wedding in Thai.
